BMW High Pressure Fuel Pump Kit - 13518604229KT1

This high pressure fuel pump is located on the cylinder head and is driven by the camshaft on the exhaust side of the engine. High pressure fuel pump failure can happen especially on early production models. This kit specifically is designed to address early production models and includes all of the new components needed to update to the latest style high pressure fuel pump.

While the high pressure fuel pump is off it's a good idea to replace the cam follower as a preventative measure. While this roller style follower BMW has used is pretty robust the needle bearings on the roller end of the follower (which rolls along the lobe of the camshaft) can wear over time so there is no better time to replace it than when the fuel pump is off.
