BMW N20 High Pressure Fuel Pump Kit - 13518604229KT

We created this BMW F30 and F32 high pressure fuel pump kit to replace the fuel pump with the updated version in early production model BMW N20 and N26 engines. This kit includes the additional adapter plug and wiring that needs to be soldered in place as well as a new fuel feed pipe, fuel pump seal, and fuel pump camshaft follower. The high pressure fuel pump (also referred to as HPFP) on the BMW F30 with the N20 or N26 engine is located on the cylinder head and is driven by the exhaust camshaft. As the pumping mechanism of the N20 HPFP is mechanically driven, wear of the components can happen over time, especially if the engine oil isn't changed regularly or is changed with the incorrect spec oil.

The problems associated with BMW N20 high pressure fuel pump failure can range from mildly annoying at first to crippling. The most common symptoms are:
