Strut mounts are a frequent wear component on vehicles with MacPherson suspension systems. These mounts secure the top of the strut to the chassis and serve as a pivot point for steering. Over time, especially with higher mileage, the strut bearing can degrade, leading to a rougher feel and reduced steering performance. Additionally, the rubber in the mount may crack, causing looseness and other issues.
