Some vehicles may experience some smoking through the exhaust after installing our downpipe. This is very common in some vehicles, and Ford is currently looking into a permanent fix. So far we have came up with some easy fixes if you are having a smoke issue: Change oil to a higher quality oil like Motul, Amsoil, or Rotella T6. If you have a tuner like a Cobb Accessport, we can move your idle from 700rpms (factory) to 900rpms which will decrease the vacuum at idle and reduce smoke.
