Years of Service
Had these 'in-dash' in my Buick GS for 10+ years and they've worked flawlessly. Caution: Be sure to verify which send unit is needed. I got the 240-33 ohm and now got a new fuel tank that came with 30-0 ohm send unit so am in a pickle trying to find the correct fuel level send unit.

Hi, I have a 74 J10 Jeep pickup. To my Knowledge the sending unit requires 75 ohms E 10 ohms F. Will this work for my truck and if not do you have a gage in this style that will work?

This gauge will not work with that as the fuel level is a 240-33 ohm range. If you would like, we recommend checking out the 9109 if you would still like this gauge.

Thank you for your question. This gauge works off of the sending units that come with the kit. This wouldn’t be able to work solely off the PCM.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately these gauges do not have a warning light. You will need to use our Elite series fuel level gauge P/N: 5609 to achieve this.

Hello, two Q : 1) I get that the fuel meter is for 240-33 ohms. But what are the ohm numbers for the water temp gauge? 2) If I print out another design of the front face, is it possible to swap without destroying needle and bezel? Thanks!

Hi Mattias, thank you for the question. We include the temperature sender, which is an ohm range of 1100 ohms to 65 ohms across the 100-250 degree range. Due to the metal bezel that is crimped on the instrument and the pointers, attempting to remove or modify the face is definitely something we would strongly advise against.

Is the glass on the Designer Black Series flat or domed? Some of the pictures show a curved reflection. No mention on the website, or am I just missing it??

Thank you for the question. The Designer Black Series does feature a domed lens. I think that feature is missing from the site, but shouldn't be. We're looking into that now.

A little more info on the dimensions, please. Actual diameter size of the gauge body, actual diameter size of gauge bezel, depth of gauge body from the bezel back.

Matt from AutoMeter · 6 years ago
Hi Hawkman, thank you for the question. We recommend a 3-3/8" hole size for mounting, but the actual case diameter is 3.348". The bezel diameter is 3-3/4" and the depth from the back of the bezel to the back of the case is 2-1/8" but you'll actually require about 3-1/2" of clearance for the mounting studs and electrical connections.
