Product 1820 DESCRIPTION:
Sometimes space is limited. The AutoMeter Quad Gauge provides a solution to limited dashboard space while providing a clean look. Individual AutoMeter air core meter movements for each function provide the accuracy and durability required by even the most demanding applications. Includes a single wire 1/8” NPT temperature sender and a 1/8” NPT oil pressure sender. The voltmeter reads from 8-18v on negative ground electrical systems and fuel level resistance range is 240 ohms empty to 33 ohms full (compatible with AutoMeter’s 3262 fuel level sender).

Kit includes fuel level sender (240E/33F), oil pressure sender, water temperature sender, 2-wire hall-effect speed sender that is compatible with GM/Chrysler applications (7/8" - 18THD), sending unit adapters (1/4", 3/8”, and 1/2" NPT adapters), bulb and socket assemblies, red and green bulb covers, mounting hardware, and detailed instructions for installation.

12 and 16 volt compatible, compatible with nearly every street car or race car electrical system
Speedometer has a simple push button, 2 mile drive calibration. No dip switches and can be reprogramed at any time to accommodate changes in gear ratio or wheel and tire combination.
Tachometer is compatible with 0.5 - 6 pulse ignition signals (1-12 cylinder engines) with points, electronic, and most 12V high-performance racing ignitions.
Speedometer is compatible with most two wire sine wave and three wire hall effect vehicle speed sensors.
Speedometer features lit LCD odometer - capable of registering one-million miles with two resettable trip odometers

We offer a 4-5/8” version in model 1803, but this is a speedometer and quad only with no tach/speedometer combo.

Just bought a used 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser that has your #1820 gauges… As gauges and FJ are new to me…I’d like to know how to remove the bezels? One of the backing plate mounting screws is under the bezel. Pry off or unscrew the bezel?

Hello BobFJ, thank you for contacting us. The bezel is actually a metal, crimped bezel and cannot be removed without damaging it. We always need to remove the bezel for service/repairs, then re-crimp a new bezel on. This would need to come into us for service. How does the speedo hook up to the transmission sensor? Do you do you have a speed of what can analog mileage gauge?

do you have this set in 5"? what would be the outside diameter of the chrome bezel? I would also need a cable driven speedo.

What is the correct fuel sending unit for Autometer fuel gauge in pkg #1820. instructions that came with the gauges (#2650-1529-00) state that a 0-90 ohm sender is required for this fuel gauge. I can't find one on your web site. Thanks

Product #1820 - My speedometer needle has started acting a little crazy, bouncing back and forth. Any ideas on how to correct this problem?

Hi Tony, thank you so much for contacting us. Unfortunately, we do not integrate indicators into our speedometers. We commonly will install separate LEDs in the dash if the indicators were integrated in the OEM gauges. Sorry for the bad news.
