Product Information
Kit required to repair malfunctioning tail lights due to tail light failure where one or more lights do not function in the rear assembly
This kit is designed to address BMW service bulletin SI B63 03 11. E46 tail lights mounted on the fender are known to have issues where one or more bulbs will not function properly due to poor connections in the vehicle wiring harness. This service bulletin affects all 3-series sedan models from 9/2001 up to 2/2005.
When performing this repair it is necessary to note where the position of each pin is in the connector via the color of the wires. Also make sure to clean the electrical pins on the light carrier to improve good contact to the other circuits.
