A complete service kit designed to make servicing your M3's transmission a little easier, features 2 liters of FFL-4 fluid which is used in place of the original MTF-LT-2 fluid and MTF-LT-3 fluid
Manual transmission drain and fills are the easiest service you can provide your manual transmission. Doing so will greatly improve the service life and performance of the transmission. Old fluid can cause numerous performance issues such as notchiness , grinding between shifts, and even mis-shifts.
To keep the internals of your BMW's manual transmission properly lubricated we recommend regular drain and fill services every 30,000 miles. To make the drain and fill service easier we recommend using a fluid evacuator or this fluid transfer pump from Wilmar, p/n W1141.
