BMW E36 / E46 RTAB Variable toe monoball (pair)

If you're looking to upgrade your rear trailing arm bushings, this E36/E46 RTAB variable toe monoball set is what you need. You will get two aluminium (6061-T6) cups, where we installed two OE quality spherical bearings (made in Germany). We also supply two adjustment sleeves, for an additional range of toe adjustment. \n \nWhy would I need additonal toe adjustment? \nBoth the E36 and E46 rear suspension is made so that the alignment toes out when it's lowered. You will eventually be lowered to a point where the factory adjustment can't bring the alignment at 0 toe. You reach between 4 to 5mm of toe-in with the additonal range of adjustment that this kit provides. \n \nHow does the adjustment work? \nBoth the center and inner sleeves are offsetted. The larger lip on the outer sleeve (aluminium), increases toe-in adjustment when placed inboard. The center sleeve also increases toe-in adjustment when placed inboard. You can install both parts in-board or out-board, seperately, in order to play with your toe. We have designed this kit to allow the driver to bring his rear wheels at a toe-in adjustment, or at 0 toe. Both are very desirable set-ups that the factory adjustment does not allow, when lowered to a certain extent. \n \nWe don't recommend polyurethane \nWe use OE spherical bearings for the sole reason that the trailing arm performs better when a full articulation is permitted. They don't allow a correct deflection of the trailing arm. \n \n \nFits all BMW E46, including M3. \nFits all BMW E36 except compact models (Ti). \n \nIn order to help the toe adjustment, we suggest you install this kit like pictured, so that the offset part faces the outside of your car. \n \nReplaces part #: 33322228153 and 33326757885. \n \nIf you wish to renew all bushings found on left and right trailing arms, you would need 4 of these trailing arm ball-joints.
