Audi VW Direct Injection High Pressure Fuel Pump Stud Conversion Kit

The camshaft follower on the Audi VW 2.0T FSI engine should be serviced regularly because it is known to fail and cause damage to the intake camshaft. This kit was created to replace the high pressure fuel pump bolts with studs to make replacing the direct injection high pressure fuel pump camshaft follower easier.

With the known issue of constant failure of the cam follower, which could lead to fault codes P0087, P1093, and P2293, we recommend changing it every 30k miles. While replacement isn't too complicated, repeated removal and installation of the high pressure fuel pump bolts could lead to damage of the threads inside your cylinder head over time.

By installing this kit, you'll convert the high pressure fuel pump bolts over to studs which will eliminate the need to remove them and thus preventing potential thread damage.
