Product Information
The factory muffler hangers on the center position of the rear "suitcase" muffler on the E9X M3 leave much to be desired. It's not uncommon for them to tear or fail with age as the stock rear muffler is excessively heavy. Even aftermarket lighter exhaust systems can still suffer from hanger failure.
Whether looking to repair the hangers or you are installing a new exhaust system it's worthwhile to install this kit with it to ensure trouble free performance for years to come.
This kit includes replacement OEM style hangers and Revshift's 80A durometer inserts which do a great job of reinforcing the relatively anemic OE hanger design. This kit is ideal for aftermarket or OEM style exhaust systems. It also includes replacement hardware as it's likely the original fasteners which affix the hanger at the top of the chassis and to the muffler itself is likely corroded and in rough shape.
