Lower radiator hose complete with water temperature fitting, a common replacement item on higher mileage vehicles

This hose brings hot water from the engine back to the radiator for cooling. This radiator hose in particular is a common replacement item due to the extreme cooling and heating cycles it goes through. We recommend inspecting this hose more regularly for bulging, dry rot, or other deformities that indicate an imminent failure.

Please note: When installing a new hose make sure when reusing the original temp sensor to also replace the o-ring or a bad seal may occur. A replacement o-ring for the sensor is available, p/n 091158010

Radiator Coolant Hose

Radiator hoses have an important job to transport your engine's coolant to and from its cooling system components. Over time they can become dry, hard, brittle, or leak which warrants a replacement. When replacing we also recommend a coolant flush and replacement to remove any possible sludge formed over time.

Recommended - Radiator / heating system cleaner by Liqui Moly LM2051. Radiator cleaner reliably removes dangerous deposits and allows the engine to run at the optimum temperature and operational reliability. Use as a preventive measure when performing a radiator hose replacement or coolant flush. Ideal for older systems.
