Product Information
The Air Pump or "Smog Pump" is part of the car's emissions system. This unit will pump air into the exhaust system to help the catalytic converter burn excess emissions during a cold start, thus improving emissions output. An indication that the air pump is not working is engine codes as well as a backfire.
