Product Information

The Valvetronic eccentric shaft actuator is located on top of the valve cover and is responsible for adjusting the position of the eccentric shaft which directly changes the lift of the intake valves. When Valvetronic is functioning all engine speed is controlled exclusively by the Valvetronic system by varying the valve lift as needed.

The Valvetronic actuator is a potential failure item on N51/N52/N52N engines but the good news is it can be replaced relatively easily as it sits external to the engine on the valve cover. This kit comes with a new actuator, actuator seal, and replacement hardware.
