Product Information
We recommend replacement of the the plugs and wires every 60-70k miles. Spark plug wires are commonly overlooked however they are typically the source of many ignition related running issues. We include the correct Mercedes service tool to make installation easier especially in the rear cylinders.
Each ignition wire is tagged with the corresponding Mercedes Benz OE Number. The cylinder positions and wire assignments for each OE Number are:
1121500118 - 1B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, 7A, 7B, 8A
1121500218 - 3A, 4A, 6A, 8B,
1121500318 - 2A, 5A
1121500418 - 1A
Mercedes Valve Covers are labeled with cylinder position and wire assignments and OE coils are labeled for wire assignments
