The E36 rear strut towers are known to fail, it is one of the car’s weakest point. When the strut towers start to “mushroom,” it means that the metal has begun to deform. It is a result of stress, corrosion, or improper load distribution. This rear BMW top plate reinforcement kit is the easiest way to fix or prevent this issue. \n \nThe strut towers are integral to the suspension geometry. Deformed strut towers will keep you from properly align your car. This also means that your tire wear won’t be even. \nYou may experience a harsher ride as the suspension struggles to perform correctly.
