Mazdaspeed HKS BOV
The MZR 2.3 DISI vehicles use a by-pass-valve (BPV) system to recirculate excess pressure from the turbo when the throttle closes. When upgrading from the factory valve – it’s important to maintain this system. Our kit includes everything that you need to get the added durability of a Mazdaspeed HKS BOV, but with the recirculating hardware needed to keep the factory system happy.

HKS has been one of the most recognized names in the forced induction industry, offering the legendary HKS SSQV valve, now in its 4th generation. The unique tunable sound sets this valve apart from others along with its automatic adjustment to boost pressures.
We at cp-e™ designed a kit for the Mazda MZR 2.3l DISI motor to specifically utilize the HKS SSQV Valve. The kit comes with everything needed for a completely bolt-on, carefree and easy installation.
Notes:
This kit will not fit with the stock air box.
Self Adjusting Valve
The HKS SSQ BOV is self adjusting and does not require calculating the proper spring for vacuum like a Tial valve. Just install and you’re good to go without any modification.
HeliHose
The full kit option includes our specially designed HeliHose™ – a flexible silicone hose that routes the vented air back into the inlet pipe, following the OEM design. The supplied Stainless Liner clamps ensure a tight fit without damaging the silicone.
CNC Machined Flange
We designed a low profile CNC machined adapter flange to bolt on to the factory location and interface with the HKS SSQV valve.
Note: We cannot guarantee fitment with the use of any product that moves the location of the intercooler outlet or throttle body. This includes but is not limited to throttle body spacers, port injection spacers, and aftermarket intake manifolds.
